TAYLOR
Taylor’s love for people, coffee, and technology has given him numerous unique opportunities over the years. From the creation of his coffee shop, Telemetry Coffee Roasters, in 2008, to being featured in the Wall Street Journal as an early adopter of crypto-currency in 2013, Taylor has always looked for the next challenge. Whether he is rebuilding a vintage Ambex roaster, creating a custom semi-volumetric Nuova Simonelli, or designing a variable TDS filtration system, Taylor enjoys leaving his unique style on projects. If you visit Telemetry, you may find him in his lab, perched over a microscope, looking for the next project.
CHARLES
Charles is passionate about entrepreneurship, aviation and of course, coffee. He has worked for many great organizations including: NASA, Boeing, Learjet, the US Air Force (civilian), The Spaceship Company and more. In 2014, he created Douvalis Labs as a think tank after stumbling into lean business principles (thank you Eric Ries). Later in 2015 he created The Wright Cup with a mission to help you discover great coffee. You will find him speaking in the Dayton, Ohio startup ecosystem, performing research in the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) industry for the FAA, or working on revolutionary projects like Third Wave Water.
AN IDEA IS BORN

Like most good things, it all started over a good meal and a beer. Two coffee shop owners, Taylor and Charles, were having lunch at Thai 9 when Charles mentioned wishing he could make a concentrate of Taylor’s perfected water blend to use for his coffee customers. That’s when the idea of “dehydrated water” was born. The rest is history.

KICKSTARTER IS LAUNCHED

We launched Kickstarter with a goal to raise $10k. In less than 36 hours we raised $15k. You all are awesome! Also, we had a great time with the Brian’s Sprudgie winning podcast on I Brew My Own Coffee Podcast episode 51!

TWW places in first place in contests in Poland and Romania, as well as first and second place in the U.S. Brewers Cup. In June, TWW wins fourth place in the World Brewers Cup with Romanian winner, Gabriel Carol.
