    A good while ago when I first learned that water for brewing coffee was more than just using water that tastes good on its own, I performed a competition of bottled water for brewing coffee. I came up with an overall winner. Third Wave Water classic profile defeated the head-to-head winner with three different coffees and the Cafelat Robot. I have tried this profile once using the Hoop and once with an Espro French press. TWW is five-for-five with two more wins. I can't testify personally when brewing Turkish coffee, the Hario switch, an AeroPress, or the Wolf batch brewer, but given the 5-for-5 above, I can't believe I would have a lesser result. The winning bottled water isn't always in stock, and it's only once store locally that carries it. It's costlier than using TWW. I once mentioned TWW should look into water profiles for loose leaf tea. I noticed the classic profile mentions tea brewing. I had a Gong Fu session today with a somewhat pricey Oolong tea, and it did the trick. When my supply runs low, I refill my bottle with distilled water plus TWW, and shake, shake, shake. Easy peasy.

    It seems to make the coffee taste better than what I've been using - tap water. Not sure how much is your product with the distilled water or just using distilled water in place of the tap water. I'm happy with the results though!

    Worth the hype. I did a blind taste test with the wave light profile, coffee water, and tap water. Used a Guatemalan Geisha that I dropped as first crack was subsiding. Without a doubt the third wave water did the best job bringing out the sweet, floral notes. I'm a believer now.
