
TWW Espresso Profile vs. Distilled Water
Goal: to score blind samples with two different waters.
Materials
- 1 coffee (10 cup minimum)
- 2 gallons of distilled water
- 1 packet TWW Espresso Profile
- Cupping sheet or equivalent
- Porcelain cupping bowls (5 for each set, minimum of 2 sets) + dip cups
- Scale (g)
- Grinder
- 2 identical insulated carafe (or double blind)
- Masking tape
Preparation
- Add 1 stick of TWW Espresso Profile to 1 gallon of distilled water, shake until dissolved. Mark water type on tape and affix to bottom of the water vessel. Have separate participant mark random code to tape, place on top of water vessel (or use preferred method for double blinding samples)
- Pour each water into designated kettle, also labeling the kettle with the code.
- Set up a minimum of 2 sets of 5 cups, label each sample with a water code
Cupping
- Weigh out and grind the TOTAL amount of coffee you will need for all cups
- Dose your typical cupping weight into each cup
- Pour water into corresponding cups
- Cup and score each sample
Results
Discuss results & reveal waters.
Extra Credit
Taste each water before discussing/revealing results.

After long time I read this post and seen that Somebody also as much curious about perfection of Cupping with finding where the Mistake is before Loosing . I am Happy To see Your post .
