Stop Ruining Your Coffee Maker
The reason you need to descale your coffee maker or pour over kettle is because of the water that you use. Scale is caused by what is called “temporary hardness” minerals. These minerals are not soluble and will leave the water and adhere to the container they are in when heat is introduced. This means that any new water that is run through your equipment will add to the existing scale rather than wash it away.
Third Wave Water fixes this issue because it contains "permanent hardness" minerals, or minerals that are soluble in water after heat is introduced, which help keep your equipment clean. This means that TWW will never contribute to scale buildup in your equipment.
